What Summer's Students are Saying:

Megan-

“Summers ability to combine informative teaching, play, and the “why” behind her work during seminars is impeccable. Learning how to instruct Steel Mace Vinyasa was possible in such a short amount of time due to her organization and the informative course book that was provided as well. If you are looking to add in a practice that will bring flow to your life, then this is a course beyond worth taking! The seminar will leave feeling inspired, educated, and ready to share your new skill with the community around you.”

Ryan  Hudson-

“I gained everything I had hoped to learn, as well as MUCH much more. My understanding of kinesiology terms and safe movement practices has grown exponentially. I feel like I have a good foundation of that knowledge that will really allow me to continue to dive deep into it as I apply it to my clients and my own practice. I learned a lot about Flow State, and most notably how to program it into my classes with intention. I wish I could fit everything I learned into here but it would be a very long document. My biggest takeaways are probably about Program design, creating my own classes and sequencing that have purpose and help students/clients move toward something. I also find the Somatic information and programming to be really valuable to my life and my current teaching. Finally, I am taking away a much fuller toolbox of ways to properly coach mindset and lifestyle integrated into a movement program."

Tyler-

"I joined Flow Shala (virtually) in mid March of 2020, right when everything started closing down, including my own fitness studio. My goal when I joined was to become a better teacher and I can confidently state that I have achieved that goal. I have incorporated a lot of the structure, philosophies and trainings at Flow Shala into what I do. I am personally stronger. Today a friend commented that I looked stronger and asked if I felt it. I said "yes", but in this cool way where all of the tissue is on board with the change, not just the muscle leaving everyone else out in the dust! 😂 I've been healing a shoulder injury for the last few years and it is really feeling good right now. I have noticed a sense of flow in my daily activities. I have a pretty active mind and can often get in my own way. I'm moving through my days more steadily, approaching challenges and snags with a more even keel."

Katherine-

“I am actively writing a program manual for my business and clients. I am incorporating techniques in to classes that I would not have prior to this experience. I am also gearing up for my own website which Summer has graciously helped each of us. She has really encouraged us to succeed. I am actively looking and seeking new opportunities to share the things I have learned and been taught! I feel blessed to learn more and to find support and a venue that has helped and encouraged success."
